Horseshoe Custom Homes is a custom home builder that prides itself on being involved with homeowners on a more personal level. We want to ensure each homeowner receives the attention and commitment required to build their dream home. Shawn Flynn started Horseshoe Custom Homes and brings almost 20 years of commercial and residential construction experience to the business. Shawn has a true passion for the building industry which began when he was a child watching his dad design various structures as an architect. Shawn feels the homebuilding business is mostly about relationships…building strong relationships between Horseshoe Custom Homes and its’ subcontractors is a high priority for Shawn, and building relationships between Horseshoe Custom Homes and its’ homeowners is the most important aspect of the business.

Our Subcontractors…

Shawn works one-on-one with each of the subcontractors on a daily basis to ensure every detail of the homebuilding process receives the attention it needs. Having been a subcontractor himself, he knows how important the relationship between a builder and a subcontractor is, and he seeks his subcontractors input to identify what works and what doesn’t work for each home. He screens and uses only those subcontractors that take pride and ownership in their work. He wants to use those subcontractors that have a passion for what they do, just as Shawn has a passion for homebuilding. The end result is not just a house, it’s art and the art of homebuilding.

Shawn has an amazing ability to relate to all of his homeowners and they know that he truly cares for them and their satisfaction with their home. It’s more than just a business transaction to him! He knows it is his responsibility to listen to each homeowner’s wants and needs to ensure they have everything they are looking for in their new home. Together, Shawn and the homeowners work on budget, floor plan, color selections, and more. Shawn wants to ensure he talks to the homeowner first hand to ensure nothing gets lost in translation by a middle man. He wants to make sure each dream home becomes a reality. His perfectionism and attention to detail reflect the motto he uses often…”It’s what you can’t see that makes the difference!”
